Celebrate Mahashivratri With This Sabudana Kheer

Using sabudana, milk, and sugar, sabudana kheer is a sweet dessert. Usually, it's prepared on days when people fast.

Ingredients

1/2 cup sabudana 2 cups whole milk 2 cups water 4 to 5 tablespoons sugar ½ tsp cardamom powder  2 tablespoon cashews ½ tablespoon raisins 3 to 4 saffron strands

Step 1

Wash and Rinse the sabudana until the water runs clear of the starch. In a pan soak the Sabudana for 15-20minutes.

Step 2

After the size is perfect, they are soaked nicely begin to cook the pearls.

Step 3

Now take a pan add milk, on medium flame warm the it. Stir and avoid boil. Now add this milk to Sabudana.

Step 4

Cook the Sabudana well, add cardamom powder & sugar. On medium flame cook it kheer.

Step 5

After some time you will notice the consistency and the kheer will be ready! Top it with cashews, kesar & raisins.

Step 6

Serve and enjoy this delicacy! You can serve it chilled or hot, both are equally tasty.
