Bhapa Doi is a traditional Bengali dessert, perfect for Durga Puja. It's a rich, creamy treat made by steaming a mixture of milk, yoghurt, and condensed milk, creating an irresistible festive delight.
400 gms sweetened condensed milk 250 ml thick yoghurt 250 ml milk
Drain excess water from the yoghurt if necessary. Blend the condensed milk and yoghurt until smooth.
Add milk and mix the ingredients well. Pour the mixture into a steel vessel.
Cover tightly with foil or a lid. Steam in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes.
Let the cooker cool down completely, then refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours before serving.
