Anant Chaturdashi, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, will be celebrated on Tuesday, 17th September 2024. To mark this sacred festival, prepare a fragrant and rich Kesar Ki Kheer as a traditional offering.
1 litre milk ¼ cup rice (soaked) 10-12 saffron strands (kesar) ½ cup sugar 1 tbsp chopped nuts ½ tsp cardamom powder
Boil milk and add soaked rice. Simmer until rice is cooked and the milk thickens.
Add saffron, sugar, and cardamom. Cook for 5 more minutes, garnish with nuts, and serve warm.
