Also known as "Bulletproof coffee," this variation on traditional coffee has received a polarising response. Made by adding butter and medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil to the coffee to create healthy fats. It is simple to prepare and can help you lose weight when consumed in moderation and mindfully.
1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or ghee 1 tablespoon coconut oil or MCT oil Optional: sweetener of your choice (like stevia, erythritol, or honey)
Using your favourite technique, brew one cup of coffee. Place the coffee in a blender while it's still hot.
Toss in the coconut oil (or MCT oil) and unsalted butter or ghee. If desired, you can add your preferred sweetener.
Everything should be properly blended and foamy after 20 to 30 seconds of high-speed blending.
Take a mug and instantly start enjoying your blended butter coffee.
