Burnt utensils are the worst to clean especially when the stains and residue would not budge. But do not worry! You can get your pots and pans back to their original shine with a few household ingredients. Here is how:

Baking Soda And Vinegar

Sprinkle baking soda on the burnt area, pour vinegar on top and let it fizz, scrub gently after a few minutes.

Lemon And Salt

Cut a lemon in half, sprinkle salt on the burnt area and use the lemon as a scrub. This works for mildly burnt stains.

Hot Water Soak

Fill the utensil with hot water and a few drops of dish soap. Let it soak for 30 minutes to loosen the burnt food before scrubbing.

Dish Soap And Aluminium Foil

Ball up aluminium foil, apply dish soap to the burnt area and scrub gently. This works like a steel scrubber without scratching.

Cream Of Tartar Paste

Make a paste with cream of tartar and water, apply to the burnt area and leave for 15 minutes. Scrub and rinse for a clean shine.

Vinegar Boi

Boil a mixture of water and vinegar in the burnt utensil for 5-10 minutes. Once cooled the stains will come off easily.

Dishwasher Tablet Rub

Rub a wet dishwasher tablet directly on the burnt area for quick stain removal.
