Bread pakora is a crispy North Indian snack that has all the cravings during the winter season. If you want to pair your evening chai with a snack, here’s how you can make bread pakora.
6 slices of bread 1 cup besan 1/4 cup rice flour 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon soda bicarbonate 1/2 cup water Oil for frying
Mix besan, rice flour, water, and all the spices to get a smooth and thick batter.
Cut the bread slices into triangles and dip each piece in the batter.
Once well-coated, heat some oil in a kadhai and deep fry till the pakora is crispy.
Drain extra oil and serve with your favourite chutney.
