Bread Pakora: Make The Crispy Snack To Pair With Your Evening Chai

Bread pakora is a crispy Indian snack that has all the cravings during the monsoon season. If you want to pair your evening chai amidst the pitter-patter of the rain, here’s how you can make bread pakora.

Ingredients

6 slices of bread 1 cup besan 1/4 cup rice flour 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon soda bicarbonate 1/2 cup water Oil for frying

Step 1

Mix besan, rice flour, water, and all the spices to get a smooth and thick batter.

Step 2

Cut the bread slices into triangles and dip each piece in the batter.

Step 3

Once well-coated, heat some oil in a kadhai and deep fry till the pakora is crispy.

Step 4

Drain extra oil and serve with your favourite chutney.
