Bread Kachori is a quick and easy-to-make tea-time snack that can be enjoyed in every household. This innovative version of the classic kachori replaces the traditional dough with slices of bread that are carefully filled with a flavorful mixture of spiced potatoes, peas, and aromatic spices. The bread is then either deep-fried or baked until it turns golden and crispy. Take a look at the recipe:

6 Bread Slices 1 cup peas Oil as needed Salt as per taste ⅛ teaspoon Turmeric ¼ teaspoon Amchoor ¼ teaspoon cumin ¼ teaspoon Fennel ½ teaspoon Coriander ½ teaspoon Chilli powder ½ teaspoon Garam masala

Pressure cook the peas with ¼ cup of water for 1 whistle. Drain water once done.

In a pan, heat oil and add cooked peas to it. Sprinkle salt and all the spice powder.

Mash everything well and mix till the water evaporates and it becomes dry.

In a shallow bowl add water. Meanwhile trim the edges of the bread.

Give a quick dip on either side and squeeze the extra water.

Place 1 and 1 ½ tsp pea mixture inside the bread and cover from all the sides.

Pinch together all the ends. Squeeze out any extra water and make sure to shape and seal as you do it.

Deep fry them in hot oil. Serve with tomato sauce.
