This crispy and tasty bread cutlet has the goodness of vegetables and makes for a nice evening snack to pair with the evening tea. Here is an easy recipe to make bread cutlet at home.

6-8 white bread slices (discard the edges) oil as required ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp white sesame seeds 1-2 green chillies 1 sugar salt to taste 1 tsp lemon juice 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves

Roughly chop the bread and put it into a bowl. Add a little water and crush it completely. Add turmeric, garam masala, sesame, chillies, sugar, salt, lemon juice and coriander.

Mix well and knead into a soft dough. Shape the dough like cutlets. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai and shallow fry on low heat till both sides are crisp and brown.

Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
