If you are bored of eating the regular kheer made with rice, we have the perfect solution for you. Try this delicious apple kheer.

Step 1

Grate the apples and fry them in desi ghee till they have no moisture left.

Step 2

In a pan, boil full cream milk till it is reduced to half.

Step 3

Add sugar and cardamom powder to the reduced milk.

Step 4

When it has thickened enough, add the apples and switch off the flame.

Step 5

Top the kheer with sliced apples, dry fruits and serve either hot, or completely chilled.
