Boozy mint chocolate is a refreshing and decadent dessert that combines a creamy chocolate base with a hint of mint and a splash of alcohol, chilled to perfection. It's a great treat for warm summer nights or any occasion when you want a delicious and boozy dessert to cool you down.
1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup whole milk 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract 1/4 cup vodka Mint leaves Whipped cream Ice cubes
Heat 1 cup of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of whole milk, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium heat, whisking until combined.
Once the mixture comes to a gentle boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Add 1/2 cup of chopped chocolate, 1/2 tsp peppermint extract, 1/4 cup of vodka, stir until the chocolate is melted. Let it cool down completely.
After it cools down, pour it in a glass with ice cubes. Garnish with wipped cream and mint leaves.
