Experience the vibrant flavours of a homemade Bombay sandwich—thinly sliced potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers layered with tangy chutneys—creating a delicious snack bursting with taste!
8 slices of bread (white or brown) 2 boiled potatoes, (thinly sliced) 1 onion, sliced 1tomato, sliced 1 cucumber, sliced 1/4 cup mint chutney 1/4 cup tamarind chutney Butter or ghee for spreading Chaat masala (optional) Salt to taste
Take slices of bread and spread butter or ghee on one side and mint chutney.
Now place a layer of thinly sliced potatoes, followed by a layer of onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and chaat masala (if desired) on top.
Take the other mint chutney spread slice of bread and place it on top.
Spread tamarind chutney on the top side of the sandwich. In the sandwich maker cook well.
Flip cook until golden brown and crispy. Cut each sandwich diagonally into two and serve!
