It is the eating habits of King Charles that kept him fit at the age of 74. Have a closer look at what the new monarch of Britain eats in a day.
King Charles starts his day with fresh home-baked bread, fruits, muesli and cereals along with fresh juices and different varieties of tea.
Due to a heavy breakfast, King Charles skips his lunch and just drinks his afternoon tea with boiled eggs and toast.
He is passionate about organic farming and consumes most of the local and seasonal food from his own organic farm. His favourite of all organic veg is wild mushrooms.
King Charles enjoys eating salmon fish and game meat like grouse and venison. For the sake of the environment, he avoids meat and fish two days a week.
Chocolate biscuit cake is one of his favourite desserts and he is also fond of British cheeses like cheddar and stilton.
King Charles loves Italian food which is often a part of most family dinners.
