Bloody Mary is renowned for its ability to perk up even the sleepiest of mornings.

While the origins of this tomato juice-based cocktail are unknown, the most common history involves Fernand "Pete" Petiot.

Pete was a bartender at King Cole Bar at the St. Regis hotel in New York City, around the middle of the 1930s.

Vodka, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, celery salt, Tabasco, and lemon juice are the original Bloody Mary's seven ingredients.

Ingredients

Take a quarter cup, add 1/4  ice cubes. Now, pour 60 ml of vodka into the cup. Add 120 ml of tomato juice.

Then add some drops of tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice and, tighten the lid.

Now, shake it briskly before serving.

To garnish, take a glass, rub a small slice of lemon around the rim of a glass, and pour the margarita into the salt-rimmed glass.

Add more fresh ice to the glass, a celery leaf, and a lemon slice before taking a sip.
