1 cup milkmaid 1 ¾ cup Maida 3 to 4 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder 100 gm butter 1 tsp soda bicarbonate 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 cup cherries 200 ml aerated soda Cherries 200 gm fresh cream 2 tsp powdered sugar 25 gm milk chocolate
Take a bowl and sieve maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, and soda bicarbonate.
Take soften butter and milkmaid. Beat them well. Add vanilla essence, maida mixture and aerated soda.
Pour the batter into the baking mould and bake in the preheated oven for at least 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let it cool. Use knife to loosen sides of cake, if necessary.
Soak both cake halves into cherry syrup. Meanwhile, start whipping cream.
Top the cake with whipped cream, cherries and milk chocolate. Let it chill and serve.
