Sattu Paratha is a traditional and nutritious stuffed flatbread from Bihar, packed with the goodness of roasted gram flour. Here’s a quick and simple way to prepare it at home.
Mix whole wheat flour, water, and a pinch of salt to form a soft dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
In a bowl, combine sattu (roasted gram flour), chopped onions, green chillies, coriander, lemon juice, ajwain, and spices like salt, cumin, and mustard oil.
Roll out a portion of dough into a small circle, place the filling in the centre, and seal it tightly.
Gently roll the stuffed dough into a paratha, being careful not to tear it.
Heat a tawa, cook the paratha on both sides with ghee until golden brown.
