Taking to her Instagram, actor Bhagyashree shared a simple recipe of moong dal khichdi that everyone should try. It is quick to make and has ample benefits for your health apart from improving digestion and satiating hunger.

In a cup of soaked and strained rice, add half a cup of chilka moong dal. This ratio ensures that the texture of the khichdi is perfect.

This khichdi recipe requires only turmeric powder to be added as a spice. At the same time add salt to taste and a tablespoon of ghee.

To this mixture, add three cups of water and close the lid of the pressure cooker. Cook it until you hear 2-3 whistles, and your khichdi is ready.

Eat this khichdi hot, or you can add a twist by tempering it with ghee, cumin seeds, and red chillies.
