Two slices of bread with something in the middle. At face value, sandwiches seem quite simple. But if you look closer, they are actually a hugely diverse category and each country has its own signatures. Here are 10 sandwiches from across the world you should know. 

Vada Pav - India

A popular Indian street food, Vada Pav consists of a spiced potato fritter tucked inside a bun, garnished with chutneys for a delightful, spicy kick.

BLT - USA

The classic BLT combines crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes between slices of bread, usually served with mayo for a satisfying taste.
