Besan sheera is a sweet treat that hardly takes any time to cook. It is lightweight, healthy, and easy to digest. Therefore, you can consume it to beat mid-meal cravings and avoid eating anything unhealthy.
1 cup milk 1 tablespoon ghee ¼ teaspoon turmeric 3 tablespoons besan ½ cup jaggery, sugar, or sweetener A teaspoon of crushed cardamom 1 tablespoon crushed nuts
In a large kadhai, add ghee and roast besan in it. Toss it until its aroma fills your entire kitchen.
Add milk and continuously stir the mixture. Cook it on a medium flame initially and ensure there are no lumps.
Once besan and milk have mixed together, reduce the flame but do not stop stirring.
Add turmeric powder for the colour and sweeteners.
Mix all the ingredients until the sheera thickens and the sugar dissolves.
Top it with crushed nuts and cardamoms before serving.
