You must have eaten different kinds of stuffed parathas - paneer, aloo, gobi, mixed, matar, etc. Have you tried besan paratha? It is crunchy, fulfilling, and a delicious snack to consume for breakfast, snack, or dinner.
½ tsp turmeric & chilli powder 1 cup besan ½ tsp amchur & chaat masala 2 cups atta ½ tsp cumin powder & ajwain 1 chopped onion 1 tsp kasuri methi & ginger Ghee as needed 1 tbsp oil Salt to taste 1 chopped green chilli
Prepare the dough of paratha by combining atta, ajwain, red chilli powder, and salt. Knead into a soft dough.
Rest the dough and prepare the besan mixture.
Roast besan, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, and other spices in a saucepan.
Add amchur powder, chaat masala, onion, and freshly chopped coriander leaves to the mix.
Divide the dough into small sections, roll a sphere, stuff it with besan mixture, and roll again.
Roast the paratha on both sides until it is crispy. Serve it with boondi raita and chutney.
