Besan barfi is a traditional melt-in-mouth sweet that can be quickly whipped up to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you love to have something sweet after a meal, here’s a step-by-step recipe to make besan barfi.
200 grams besan 100 grams milk 50 grams desi ghee 100 grams sugar Water as required Pinch of elaichi powder
Take a bowl and mix milk and besan. Add ghee and stir till consistent.
Transfer the mixture to a pan and roast on low flame.
Once grainy, add elaichi powder and mix well.
In another pan, mix sugar with water to make chaashni. Add the sugar syrup to the besan mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a plate and let it cool. Cut into barfi slices and serve.
