Bengali style mango mishti doi is a sweetened yoghurt delicacy made with fresh mangoes that is a perfect way to celebrate the king of fruits during mango season. This creamy, luscious dessert comes together with just a few simple ingredients.
2 cups plain whole milk yogurt 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup heavy cream 1 large ripe mango, peeled and pureed (about 1 cup) 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped pistachios for garnish
In a bowl, whisk together the yoghurt, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream and mango puree until well combined.
Pour the mixture into individual serving bowls or cups.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavours to meld.
When ready to serve, sprinkle the cardamom powder and chopped pistachios over each serving.
