Beetroot kanji is everywhere, even Chef Kunal Kapur has a recipe for this winter drink. It is not only good for your gut health but also enriches your body with nutrients. It is easy to prepare and tastes delicious.
2 beetroots 2 tsp red chilli powder 5-6 carrots 1 tbsp black salt 2 tbsp yellow mustard seeds 1-2 slit green chillies 8 cups of water
Peel the beetroots and cut them into sticks. Follow the same process with carrots.
Slit green chillies and add them to the glass container.
User mortar and pestle to coarsely grind mustard seeds. You can also use black mustard seeds.
Add black salt, table salt, and red chilli powder to the container.
Fill the container with water and let the ingredients ferment for 3-4 days.
Enjoy the fermented drink in winter and improve your gut health.
