Beetroot chips are a perfect munching snack, which is healthy and can be eaten anytime without guilt. Their natural sweetness and earthy flavour make them a crunchy treat high in fibre and full of nutrients.
3 beetroots 1 tbsp olive oil ½ tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper ½ tsp chaat masala (optional)
Preheat your oven to 180°C, and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Peel the beetroots and use a mandolin slicer to slice them into thin slices.
Place the beet slices in a bowl, add olive oil, salt, black pepper and chaat masala. Toss well to coat.
Spread the beetroot slices in a single layer on the tray; do not overlap.
Put the tray in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes; flip halfway through until crispy.
Let them cool for a few minutes to get extra crispy.
