Chilla, the healthy Indian snack, is not only nutritious but also versatile. Whether it’s besan, moong dal, or even beetroot, you can always whip up a healthy chilla. For a vibrant snack, make beetroot chilla.
1 cup grated beetroot 1 cup besan 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for greasing the pan
Mix grated beetroot, besan, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt in a bowl.
Add some water till you get a smooth batter.
Heat a pan, grease it with oil and pour a ladleful of batter on the batter.
Spread the batter into a circle and cook on both sides.
Transfer the beetroot chilla to a plate and serve with your favourite chutney.
