Beat the heat with a delicious and refreshing watermelon slush. It is easy-to-make beverahe that is perfect for hot summer days, combining the natural sweetness of watermelon with a hint of lime for a zesty twist. Watermelon slush is packed with Vitamin A and C. Take a look at how to make it:
4 cups of watermelon, cubed and seeds removed 1 tablespoon of lime juice 2 tablespoons of honey (optional) 1 cup of ice cubes Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Start by cutting a ripe watermelon into cubes, ensuring all seeds are removed. For best results, chill the watermelon cubes in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before making the slush.
In a blender, combine the chilled watermelon cubes, lime juice, honey (if using), and ice cubes. Blend until the mixture is smooth and slushy. If you prefer a thicker consistency, add more ice cubes and blend again.
Pour the watermelon slush into glasses. For an extra touch of freshness, garnish with mint leaves
