Bathua is considered a must-have in North India. It is packed with nutrition, vitamins, and minerals that not only help to keep the body healthy but also provide warmth. Here is how to make bathua paratha.
1 cup atta 1 cup chopped bathu 1 tbsp ghee Water as needed Oil or butter for roasting A pinch of salt 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp ajwain
Take a deep bowl and add atta to it.
Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, and ajwain.
Add bathua and a dollop of ghee.
Knead a soft dough with water. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into many spheres. Roll them and spread them over a hot skillet.
You can roast the paratha with ghee, butter, or garlic butter. Serve with chutney, sabzi, or raita.
