Need some emotional support at breakfast from your healthy oats? Make this delicious banana bread version that is full of treats in every bite.
½ ripe banana ½ cup rolled oats ¾ teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoons maple syrup ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons milk ½ sliced banana Handful of dark chocolate chips 2 pinches raw sugar 1 pinch cinnamon powder
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Add the ripe banana, oats, baking powder, maple syrup and milk to a blender and blitz into a smooth batter.
Pour into a greased baking cup or tin and top up with chocolate chips and slices of banana.
Sprinkle the raw sugar and cinnamon on top of everything.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the texture resembles that of cake. Serve warm.
