Baked Ragi Murukku: A Healthy Snack To Enjoy With Your Evening Tea

Murukku is a tasty tea-time snack that is prepared in South Indian homes. Give it a healthy twist by preparing this baked version of murukku with ragi flour.

Ingredients

250 g ragi flour 150 g besan flour 5 g ginger 5 g chilli 2 g garlic paste 5 g salt 20 ml oil

Step 1

Take the dry ingredients and knead them together. Add oil and the required amount of water. Knead a semi-soft dough and divide it into two equal sizes.

Step 2

Put one half of the dough into a chakli machine and press out roundels of the dough. Then put murukku in a pre-heated oven at 360°f for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

Take the other half and repeat the same process. Let it cool and your healthy murukku is ready.
