This is a sweet delight, perfect for small to large gatherings. With Christmas and New Year around the corner, you can enjoy it while binge-watching your favourite movie and make the most of the sugar rush.
2 tbsp softened Butter 1/4 cup oats 2 tbsp brown sugar 2 tbsp raisins 1 tsp cinnamon powder pinch of salt 3 medium red apples For Syrup 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup Hot water 2 tbsp brown sugar Hung curd for serving
Combine butter, oats, sugar, raisins, cinnamon powder, and salt with your fingertips in a medium bowl. Set the mixture aside.
Using a knife, cut out the core and stem of each apple, leaving the bottom about 1/2-inch of the apple intact.
Using a small spoon, scoop out any remaining core and seeds to form a cavity in each apple. Stuff each apple with an equal amount of the prepared oat mixture.
Pour the vinegar, hot water, and brown sugar into a dip baking plate; whisk to combine. Arrange the apples, crumb side up, on the baking plate.
Preheat the OTG to 180°C for 10 minutes. Bake until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork, 30 to 40 minutes.
Serve warm with big scoops of hung curd or ice cream.
