The king of fruits, mango, is abundantly available in summer, and it’s only fair to try new recipes with the delicious fruit. To celebrate the natural sweetness of the juicy mangoes, bake a refreshing cake.
1.5 cups maida 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Pinch of salt 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup butter 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup mango puree Whipped cream for frosting
Take a bowl and mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, butter, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Add mango puree to the dry ingredients till they are mixed thoroughly.
Next, mix in the wet ingredients till you get a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake for about 30-40 minutes.
Let the cake cool, and then decorate with whipped cream before serving.
