Lemon is a quintessential ingredient in many recipes that’s perfect to enjoy in the spring season. If you’re looking for a refreshing dessert, here’s a quick recipe for tangy lemon pie.
1 cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons lemon zest 4 egg yolks 1 can condensed milk 1.5 cups Graham cracker crumbs 6 tablespoons butter 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and powdered sugar to prepare a crunchy crust.
Layer the mixture in a pie dish and bake it for about 10 minutes. Let it cool.
Mix condensed milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, and egg yolks till smooth.
Pour the filling on the crust and bake the pie for another fifteen minutes.
Refrigerate the pie for about four hours, top it with whipped cream, and enjoy.
