Craving a delicious fruit cake but don’t have an oven? No worries! You can make a moist, flavourful fruit cake using a pressure cooker. Here's how to do it easily.
Combine 1 cup flour, ½ tsp baking powder, mixed dry fruits, ½ cup sugar, ½ cup butter, and 2 eggs. Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for flavour.
Remove the whistle from the lid and place a stand at the base. Preheat the cooker on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Grease a round cake tin and pour the batter in. Place the tin in the preheated cooker, cover it without the whistle, and bake on low flame for 30-40 minutes. Check with a toothpick for doneness.
Let it cool before serving.
