Indian delicacy called "bael halwa" is formed with the pulp of the bael fruit and sugar. It is tasty and calming.
1 cup bael fruit pulp 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup ghee 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, and cashews) 1/4 tsp cardamom powder A pinch of saffron strands (optional)
Start by Scooping out the bael fruit pulp and discard the seeds. Take a masher and Mash the pulp
Or use a blender to blend pulp into a smooth paste. In a pan Heat ghee in pan.
Now Add the bael pulp to the pan and stir for a few minutes. Add sugar to the pan and continue stirring.
Cook the mixture on medium heat until it thickens. Add milk to the pan and stir.
Add the chopped nuts, cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the pan and mix well.
Serve it warm garnish with chopped nuts. Enjoy!
