Indian sweets are surely one of the best things to have as a dessert or present as a gift. You have probably heard about kaju katli, which is made of cashews, but have you ever tried badam katli, made with almonds? Try this recipe!
1 cup blanched almonds, ground to a fine powder 1 cup powdered sugar 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon ghee
Combine the almond powder and powdered sugar.
Heat milk and ghee in a saucepan over medium heat.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the hot milk and ghee mixture, stirring continuously until a dough forms.
Knead the dough until smooth and pliable. Cut into shapes.
Let the cut pieces dry for a few hours or overnight. Serve.
