Mutton Keema Curry is a rich and flavourful dish made from minced meat, simmered with spices and coconut paste. This dish pairs perfectly with rice, chapati, or paratha for a complete meal.
300g mutton keema 1 large tomato, chopped 1 large onion, finely chopped 3 garlic cloves, chopped 1/2 cup rice water 1/2 cup water 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp oil 1/4 inch cinnamon 2 cloves Curry leaves 1 bay leaf 1/4 cup grated coconut 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
Rinse mutton keema twice, drain, and set aside after rinsing with turmeric powder.
Heat oil in a cooker and add cinnamon, cloves, curry leaves, and bay leaf.
Add onions and garlic to the cooker. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Then, add mutton keema and cook for 5 minutes.
Pour in red chilli powder, coriander powder, water, and rice water. Pressure cook for 8 whistles.
Grind coconut and fennel seeds to a paste, then add it to the curry and simmer for 10 minutes.
Once oil separates, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot!
