Tired of eating regular pakoras in this beautiful weather? Why not make something local and tasty? Ever heard of pumpkin flowers being fried in a delicious batter? It tastes awesome and is very easy to make! Try this recipe for your next evening munch.
Pumpkin flowers Besan Rice flour Red chilli powder Turmeric powder Coriander powder Garam masala Salt Water Oil for deep frying
Gently wash the pumpkin flowers and remove the stamens.
Combine besan, rice flour, all the spices and water to form a thick batter.
Taste test it to get the preferred mix.
Dip each pumpkin flower in the batter and fry.
Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
