Arabi or kachu is a kind of tuber popularly eaten in the state of Jharkhand as a curry. It is a sticky, slimy, and potato-like delicacy, which is more on the sweeter side. Get to know about how to make arbi vegetable curry authentically from Jharkhand's traditional cuisine.
1 pound arbi 1 large onion 2 cloves garlic 1-inch ginger 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon oil
Add cumin seeds, onion, garlic, ginger, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder in some oil.
Add the boiled arbi to the pan.
Add water and simmer until the gravy thickens. Season with salt to taste.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
