Atte Ki Pinni: The Healthy Punjabi Sweet You Need

Atte ki pinni, a traditional Punjabi sweet, is not only delicious but also packed with health benefits. Made with whole wheat flour, ghee, and dry fruits, it provides essential nutrients and energy, making it ideal for boosting immunity and overall strength. 

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour (atta) 1/2 cup ghee 1/2 cup powdered jaggery or sugar 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, etc.) 1 tsp cardamom powder 

Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan and roast the wheat flour on low heat until golden brown and fragrant. 

Step 2

Add chopped nuts and sauté for 2-3 minutes. 

Step 3

Remove from heat and mix in jaggery or sugar and cardamom powder. 

Step 4

Let the mixture cool slightly, then shape into small round pinnis. Store in an airtight container.
