Atta halwa, also served as kada parshad in Gurudwaras is a traditional Punjabi dessert which is known for its simplicity and satisfying taste. With basic ingredients, here’s how to prepare it at home.
1 cup atta 1/2 cup ghee 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup water Chopped nuts for garnish
Heat some ghee and add atta. Roast till golden brown and fragrant.
Add sugar and stir well. Gradually mix water and mix till it thickens.
Once the water is absorbed, add the cardamom powder. Turn off the heat.
Garnish with shopped nuts and serve hot.
