Choora Matar 

The delicious crunchy is made with loads of green peas, crushed together and mixed with poha that is doused in oodles of ghee. This is a Banarasi version of poha. 

Kachori With Aloo Sabzi 

The dal-filled deep-fried bites called kachoris are a popular breakfast in many parts of UP. Paired with a hot potato curry, this breakfast combo is a must-try. 

Chenna Dahi  Vada 

Made with the goodness of chenna aka paneer, this dahi vada is loaded with the protein and deep-fried to be covered in fresh curd. Finish with tamarind and mint chutney. 

Safed Makhan Toast 

A humble breakfast found on the streets of Varanasi, the local bread slice is slathered with a coating of white butter and topped with sugar or chaat masala as per preference.
