Almond milk is considered among the best plant-based varieties of milk. It is rich in many essential nutrients and benefits the body. Whether vegan or lactose intolerant, here is how you can make almond milk at home.
3-4 cups water 1 cup raw almonds Sweeteners A pinch of salt
Rinse almonds and soak them overnight in cool water. It will soften them and make them easy to blend.
Add water and soaked almonds into the blender and grind into a smooth concoction.
Cover a nut milk bag with a cheesecloth or fine mesh and strain the mixture.
If you are using a cloth, squeeze it gently to extract all the liquid until dry pulp remains.
Add sweeteners like dates, honey, or maple syrup and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavour.
Blend this mixture again and strain through a sieve. Use it to make milk-based delights.
