It would be safe to say that your loaf of bread is the most versatile ingredient in your kitchen now. Hence, why are you settling for a sandwich, when you can use it to make a Halwa.
50 ml Ghee Handful of ghee roasted cashews Slices of bread, 2 cups 2 tablespoon Wheat flour 1/2 litre Milk 250 gms Sugar 1/2 tablespoon Cardamom powder 1 tablespoon Saffron water
Remove edges of the bread. Cut up the bread into small pieces and grind well.
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, add wheat flour and milk and stir for a while. Let it come to a boil
Add the ground bread powder and mix well. Then add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron water.
Now add 7-8 tbsp ghee, followed by roasted cashews. Finally, add some 4-5 tbsp ghee and let it cook for a few minutes.
