Minimise food waste by discovering the untapped potential of frequently discarded food scraps that can be repurposed into delectable and nourishing dishes. 

Watermelon rind 

You can pickle it or add it to salads to give them a nice crunch 

Citrus peels 

To use them in baking or as a flavouring for drinks, zest them or dry them and then use them. 

Carrot tops 

You may incorporate them into pesto or add them to salads for a flavour that is reminiscent of freshness. 

Potato peels 

To make potato peel chips that are crispy, toss them with oil and seasonings, then bake them. 

Vegetable Scraps 

To prepare your own homemade vegetable broth, be sure to save the onion skins, celery leaves, and other vegetable leftovers. 

Herb Stems 

They should be chopped very small and then used to infuse flavour into soups, sauces, and marinades. 

Banana Peels 

Banana peels are edible, contrary to popular belief. The peels of bananas can be used in smoothies or in banana peel curry, or teas.
