Darjeeling in West Bengal is known for producing loose-leaf tea. With a mild flavour and invigorating aroma, a cup of loose-leaf tea will energise you. Here is a quick guide to make it at home.
1 cup water 1 tsp black/ green tea ½ tsp jaggery
Keep a stainer, boiler, cup, and ingredients ready.
First, boil water in the kettle or container.
Depending on the temperature of the water and the type of tea, add loose leaves.
Add jaggery if you like the concoction to be sweet. Avoid using processed sugar.
Wait for the water to turn colour. You can also steep the tea leaves.
Strain the tea and enjoy. You can add one or two tablespoons of milk if you would like.
