Anjeer Halwa is a warm and lip-smacking dessert that is prepared with dried figs (anjeer) and topped with dry fruits. Here is an easy recipe to make anjeer halwa at home.

100 g dry figs 9 cashew nuts (chopped) 9 pistachios (chopped) 3 tbsp ghee ½ cup sugar a pinch of salt 1 tsp cardamom powder Almond flakes as required

Soak dry figs in warm water for about 10-15 minutes and blend it to a coarse paste.

Heat 2 to 3 tbsp of ghee in a pan, add chopped cashew nuts, pistachios and roast them till they sizzle. Now add the prepared fig paste.

Cook it by stirring occasionally. When the ghee starts oozing out, add sugar, salt and keep stirring it for another 5-10 minutes.

Then add cardamom powder, mix well and switch off the flame. Sprinkle the almond flakes and enjoy.
