Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was surely the ceremony of the year, whose extravagance will be remembered for years to come. While reportedly there were 3500+ dishes, here are the top Indian ones served at the wedding.
While the Anant-Radhika wedding featured a range of chaats, Varanasi’s tamatar ki chaat got the most attention.
A range of different types of teas and coffees were served at the wedding, but Madras Kaapi was in the spotlight.
Traditional South Indian dosas like ghee dosa, garlic dosa, pesarattu dosa, and more were specially made.
The comfort food of India, idlis like thatte idli with sambar and different chutneys from Rameshwaram cafe, was served.
Thalipeeth, South India’s staple multigrain flatbread, was served and relished by the high-end guests.
Highlighting North India’s staple, kulche, with thick chole made with a blend of spices had a special counter.
None of the Gujarati staples were forgotten. From Ghughra to Ghari dhokla, Anant Radhika's wedding was filled with traditional snacks.
Not to mention, Gujarati kadhi, which has many kinds of papad, was enjoyed by the guests at the celebrity wedding.
Coming to desserts, traditional Indian desserts like Mohanthal garnished with dry fruits and nuts were served.
