As stone fruit season continues to flood markets with treats like cherries, plums and peaches, prep and freeze a batch of fresh cherries to make this daiquiri at a moment’s notice. Shake up a large batch of this cocktail or simply make one to enjoy in solitude.
1 cup frozen cherries 90 ml coconut rum Juice of ½ lemon Crushed ice Fresh cherry, for garnish
Combine the frozen cherries, coconut rum and lemon juice in a blender.
Blend until it turns into a smooth mixture before adding some ice and blending again.
Pour into a serving glass and garnish with a fresh cherry before serving immediately.
