Monsoon calls for making something delicious with seasonal produce. Since bottle gourd is a nutritious and locally sourced ingredient available in plenty, here is a quick recipe for raita that you must try.
1 cup curd Salt to taste 1 cup grated bottle gourd 1 tsp chopped green chillies ½ tsp cumin powder 1.5 cups of water A pinch of black salt A pinch of garam masala
A three layered bread pakora can be your easy go-to tri-colour snack.
Cook bottle gourd until it softens. Drain the water and keep it aside to cool off.
Whisk chilled curd and add cooked lauki and chopped green chillies to it.
Add spices like roasted cumin powder, garam masala, and black salt.
