1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup ghee 1/4 cup curd 1/4 teaspoon baking soda A pinch of salt Water as needed 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add ghee and yoghurt, then knead to make a smooth dough. Add water as needed and cover with muslin cloth.
Let dough rest for 30 minutes. After that, make small badusha balls with it and press in the middle.
Add sugar and water to a pan and bring it to a boil. Allow it to simmer until thick, then flavour with cardamom.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry badusha until crispy and golden. Remove on a paper towel.
Dip badusha in sugar syrup and let soak for a few minutes. Transfer to plates and serve or store in an airtight container for a week.
